With a Ph.D. in Leadership with a focus on Higher Education from the University of the Cumberlands, and an M.Ed. in Education, Dr. Benson combines academic rigor with practical experience. He has served on over 200 dissertation committees, taught advanced statistical courses, and authored multiple publications on leadership, retention, and education. Recognized for his excellence in teaching and innovation, he has received accolades such as the Raytheon National Math Hero Award and the Michael C. Colegrove Dissertation Award.
